This course consist of a combination of classroom and independent at home self study. The training program will consist of both written examinations and skills demonstrations.

Areas of concentration include: Infection control, Safety in the home, Communication, Providing privacy, HIPPA, Confidentiality, Fire and Severe Weather Safety, Personal Hygiene / Grooming, Basic Nursing Skills, Vital Signs, Positioning, Nutrition and Fluid Intake, Psychosocial / Emotional Needs, Basic Elements of Body Functioning, Care of the Chronically Ill, Disease Process, Basic Assessment Skills, Client Rights and Emergency Procedures/ Contacting the Nurse.

Cost: The tuition cost is $175.  
If not paying all at once, $50 must be paid at your time of registration and the remaining $125 must be paid before you can begin training. (Call for other payment options)
